The purpose of the present study is to review the educational effect of Zekr (God’s remembrance) on the identification and development of human. The method of study is descriptive-analytic and the findings showed that Zekr consists of three lingual, heart-felt, and practical types and that the best type is practical. If a human perseveres with practical remembrance of God, he reaches to the point that what he says or thinks of, will coordinate and agree with his acts; that is to say all of his existence will act in obedience to God. It shows that the beauty of God manifests in him so he finds himself present in the holy shrine of God. Remembrance of God facilitates further recognition of one’s identity and its betterment; because Zekr makes a human aware of God’s blessing and relieves him from defections and makes him search for his existential truth in relation to God. Such a human receives Godly quality and so wherever he enters, he takes the divine scent with himself. It is in this case that the special outcomes of Zekr such as removing negligence, casting out devil temptations, self-reform, attraction and intensification of divine affection, patience, humbleness, thankfulness, and tranquility manifest in a human.
