The present study aimed to investigate the fundamental understanding of humans from Imam Sadiq's(AS) perspective and their role in achieving excellence in education. The research method is descriptive-analytical, and the results demonstrated that educators' perspective concerning ontology should shift from naturalism to belief in creation. They should focus on purposefulness, systematicity, dynamism, and strengthening beings, which lead humans towards sublime goals while opposing nihilism. In the theological field, the research dispels delusions resulting from folklore and childish dogma by introducing God as the infinite origin of being. This is done through considering three components, including presence and observation, bounty and giving, and the scientific and natural power of God. Doing so fosters in the educator humility, reliance on God, and gratitude. With regards to anthropological terms, the research stresses the importance of religious, empirical, rational, and even mystical anthropology, emphasizing the role of nature, aptitudes, capacities, and weaknesses in achieving excellence in education. This movement towards values takes shape in humans beyond the superficial aspects, as they engage in voluntary and selective actions. The research follows the Holy Quran's verses strategy in achieving excellence in nurturing, implying reaching the highest levels of faith and performing good deeds while opposing disbelief, sin, negligence, and superficiality as the most damaging factors in achieving excellence in education.
